Roatan, Honduras an island paradise in the Caribbean, is proud to be hosting the fourth annual “Moto Fest” event from August 20th through August 23rd. Motofest is an event that brings together more than 300 motorcycles from across Central America. This years event is slated to be the biggest yet with over 300 motorcycles registered. The bikes will be brought over by boat from El Salvador, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and Belize.
In addition, to promoting the natural beauty of Roatan, one of the top tourist destinations in the Caribbean Central American country, money raised will go to two non profit organizations here on Roatan. RBC Insular and I Am And I WAS Foundation will benefit. The event also benefits island tourism during the low season.
The fun starts on August 20th and goes until the 23rd and includes concerts at the Port of Roatan. Two open concerts will be in Coxen Hole, at the cruise ship dock. There will also be motorcycle tours to expose riders to the traditions and cuisine of the Garifuna community living in Roatan.
